PU VARNISH is extremely durable and long-lasting clear coat, with high shine and great hardness. It is based on high quality PU resins. It can be used for protection of interior wood substrates, especially for surfaces exposed to intensive wear –parquet, decking, tread steps and other objects as furnture. It is resistant to houseold cleaners. IRKOM PU VARNISH doesn’t turn yellow when it is exposed to sunlight.
IRKOM PU VARNISH is 1K and it is suitable for longer usage -if there is PU varnish left in can, close it tight and continue your work the next day. Remaining varnish will not harden. Unlike that, in 2K paints component B will harden and it will increase cost of painting. This is a big PU varnish adventage over 2K paints.
Varnished surfaces have great hardness and excellent shine.

Sand the substrate with sand paper, wipe dust with dry brush and apply varnish. Sand and clean previously varnished substrate, too, because that way you will enable good sticking of new paint. Thin PU VARNISH with IRKOM NITRO thinner, as needed.Apply varnish with brush, velour roller or spray pistol.

Coverage: covers 0,75l 8-10 m²u (one coat)
Drying time between two coats: je 18h, Hard dry 24h.

After every coat, surface need to be sanded.
Special storage conditins are not required.
