IRKOLIN GOLD
GOLD STANDARD FOR WOOD PROTECTION
Thick stain paint for wood, contains wax and UV blockers. Big amount of wax fills wood pores and enables wood substrate regeneration after every winter. Provides the look of fresh applied paint. Irkolin Gold is elastic paint – it follow wood movement and prevents migration of water into and damaging of substrate.
WOOD PROTECTION IN ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS
Its purpose is decoration and protection of interior and exterior wood. It is especially suitable for wood exposed to extreme weather conditions. You can use it for wood surfaces in hausehold, doors, windows, blinds, cottages, rafts and other wooden substrates.

APPLIANCE
Warm IRKOLIN GOLD before use – leave it on radiator, in hot water or sun so it can melt and become easier for use.When it is heated it leaves even coat and will be better absorbed by substrate. Than stir the paint with something wide (as ruler) until it become homogenized. Don’t shake the can for that purpose. Apply one or two coats of IRKOLIN GOLD with brush, roller or spray pistol. If coat is too thick it can cause migration of wax to surface of coat and this leads to coating mechanical damage, and if coating is too thin it won’t provide required protection.
Onto new – untreated wood
If you paint soft wood, clean it and let it dry, apply Irkolin Gold primer or Irkolin Classic. Irkolin primer has low density, fills wood pores, penetrates deeply and provides excellent link between substrate and top coat. Irkolin Classic can be used as undercoat when we want more intensive color of Irkolin Gold. If you paint hard wood, you can use Aqau stain as primer. Sand with sand paper 260 – 320 after applying of each coat.
Onto previously treated wood
Remove loose particles of old paint with sand paper, clean surface and let it dry. Than apply one or two coats of Irkolin Gold the same way as we described for new wooden substrates.
Important!
During the work, stir paint periodically to prevent falling of pigments to the botoom. That way you will enable even color at surface.

IF YOU PAINT NEW WOOD SUBSTRATE, APPLY IRKOLIN GOLD PRIMER OR IRKOLIN CLASSIC AS A PRIMER
Irkolin Gold primer has low density and fills wood pores, penetrates deep into substrate and makes excellent link between substrate and top coat. Irkolin Gold can be used as undercoat when we want more intensive color of Irkolin Gold. In that case we use same color of Irkolin Classic and Irkolin Gold.
ATTENTION
Stir paint periodically during the work to prevent falling of pigments to the bottom.That way you’ll enable even color of surface.
