F1 POLIESTER SET

Prepare substrate;

-Concrete substrate has to be clean, dry and compact (without loose particles).
-Tin substrate of car body has to be degreased, sanded, without previouspainting and corrosion.
-Polyester substrate also has to be degreased and if damage parts are big, cut them off.
When you patch holes, use alu or cellophane foil for molding. Fix the foil on the other side with sellotape. After F1 POLYESTER harden, remove the foil.Polyester kit also fills in holes in concrete(it is made of resin, hardener, fastenerand quarz sand as filler).
Apply with brush and metal roller. Tools and hands clean with acetone.
Cut partsof fibreglass as big as you need for repair. Stick as much layers of fibre glass as you need to reach thickness of the hole. Prepare everything before you start repairing, because resin hardens in 15 minutes. When you repair vertical surfaces you have to work skillfully and fast, because resinwill leak down the walls. When you’vepreparedeverything you need, follow this procedure:
Sand and clean substrate. Brush it with resin,mixed with hardener (proportion is specified on package). Than put one layer of cut fibreglass. Pour resin onto it and spread it nicely with brush. Remove bubbles with metal roller. Repeat this procedure for every layer of fibreglas.
After an hour, when resin is hard, you can even surface with sand paper or cement, and then you canvarnish it.
Proportion for hardened of polyester resin is 40:1 –per 100 parts of resin put around 2,5 parts of component B(adjust to temperature and to that how fast hardening you need). The best temperature for work performance is 200C. Higher temperature will fastened resin hardening and vice versa.
