Aqualin zuzu
WATERBORNE PAINT FOR HIVES
Waterborne paint for hives is based on acrylates, binders and water based pigments. They don’t contain ingredients that will have negative effects on bees colonies. It contains UV resistant pigments and wax (reason of water resistance). There is four basic colour of this paint in the market (white, blue, red and yellow), but you can make many other colours buy mixing of them.
ODORLESS, NON – TOXIC PRODUCTS
This paints are made in accordance with ecologic regulations. It is non – toxic product and can not harm bee colonies and it’s accordingly certified. There are not traces in bee products nor influence on bee behavior. It’s odorless and dries quickly.
APPLIANCE
Remove loose particles of previous painting with sand paper and clean the surface. Apply two coats of pain with spray or brush. Second layer is to be applied 2 – 3 hours after the first one. Dilute with 15% of water. Hives that are coated with linen oil varnish have to be dried well and surface sanded – that will allow good adhesion of Aqualin Zu Zu. If you don’t do so, Aqualin ZU ZU will probably peel off.
