IRKOLIN CLASSIC is varnish-free, thin-layer clear coat for decoration and deep protection of interior and exterior wood (windows, doors, railings, paneling). It protects wood from moisture and in various weather conditions and provides nicelook of woodensurface. High content of pigments givesexellent colour to the wood, and its low densityenable deep penetrating into wood structure. It can be used individually –1-2 coat for interior painting and 2 –3 coats for exterior painting. It also can be used as primer for IRKOLIN GOLD –in that case you apply just one coat, in the same colour as IRKOLIN GOLD. If you want more intensive shade, add more coats of paint than we recommended. Every added coat will intensify shade and loss of clearity will be minimal. Apply IRKOLIN CLASSIC with brash, velour roller or spray gun.

Stir IRKOLIN CLASSIC before use. Shake by no means. Shaking causes bubbles and bubbles causes paint defects. This stain is very liquid and content of pigments is very high; so pigments falls to can bottom relatively quicklyand paint has to be periodically stirredduring the work.This way you will avoid unevencolourof surface. Thinner is not required for IRKOLIN CLASSIC.
Wood that is not previously coated has to be softly sanded with sand paper 120 –180; wipe dust with dry brush and apply well stirred paint. Don’t wipe with clothes, because it will leave fibers that can make bumps in paint.
Previously painted substrate has to be sanded, old paint removed as much as possible,dust wiped and than you can apply IRKOM CLASIC. IRKOLIN CLASSIC penetratesdeeply into wood substrateand provides protection from mold and insects, but also provides excellent colour shades. You can apply next coat after 12 –24 hours. When the first coat is dry, wood fibers are little bit lifted, so substrate has to be softly sanded with sand paper again, dust removed and than you can apply second coat of paint. . When you work with previously painted wood, the procedure is the same. On the substrate where one coat of IRKOLIN CLASSIC is enough for deep wood protection and for achieving of required colour, you can apply IRKOLIN GOLD onto that one coat. IRKOLIN GOLD will provide extraordinary surface protection atvarious weather conditions (sun, wind, rain, snow etc.). IRKOM CLASSIC is excellent link between wood substrate and IRKOLIN GOLD, and this is exactly what is necessary for succesful applying IRKOLIN GOLD.

Required temperature for work performance: +10°C do +30°C.

We don’t recommend painting when moisture is more than 80%, when sun, wind, fog or rain are strong.

Drying time between two layers is 12 to 24 hours
After each coat perform soft sanding. Sand evenly and don’t destroy previous coat –that would cause uneven colour at surface.
