METAL COAT WITH METAL SWARF

It gives to metal surface the look of wrought iron, and covers all metal imperfections. Main characteristics of this paint are: extraordinary hardness, elasticity, adhesion, impact resistancyand weather protection.
It is very important to follow the usageprocedure of this product correctly.
It can be applied onto new metal surface, corroded metal or onto metalsubstratewith any coating older than 2 years. It can also be applied onto plasticandwoodsubstrateand onto galvanized sheet and aluminium (you previously need to sand the surface and to degrease it with degreaser IRKOM M; without usage of primer).
Usage guide:
Applicationon new metal:
New metal surface need to be degreased with degreaser (IRKOM OB1, IRKOM M) or with nitro thinner. If substrateisn’t well degreased, paint certanly will not stick to the substrate and consequently will peel off. After that you can apply the paint in two coats of total thickness 120 microns. IRKOM 3in1 NOVA ANTIKA is applied with brush or with spray pistol. During the painting its necessary to stir the paintperiodically, to prevent metal swarf from falling to the bottom. We recomand painting of big surfaces with spray. Second coat is to be applied wet –to –wet, or at most 4 hours after the first coat. The coat is dry-to-touchafter 30 –60 minutes, and hard dry after 72 hours. Crosslinking is complete after 30 days and this makes thispaint very strong and resistant.
Application onto corroded metal:
It is applied with:
– brush –thinner is not required; you apply paint by tapping with brush, so metal swarf can not group in one point.
– Spray pistol –with 5% thinner; required nozzle diameter is 2.4 mm; required pistol outlet pressure is 3.2 bars, and pressure at compressor 3.8 bars.
